Buffy Sainte-Marie is an award winning composer, singer-songwriter, musician, visual artist, and actress. Throughout her life she has been an active advocate for pacifism, social activism, and education, using her arts and social position to focus on issues facing the Indigenous peoples of the Americas. She got her start on the music scene in the 60s and has not shown signs of stopping.
